MASHHAD
It is a complex which contains the mausoleum of Imām Rezā, the seventh descendant of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.
TABRIZ
Historic mosque example of glazed tile work constructed in the time of Jahanshah Bin Shah Yusef (1465) during the reign of Kara Koyunlu dynasty.
TEHRAN
It combines elements of Sassanid and Islamic architecture. Built in 1971 in commemoration of the 2,500th anniversary of the Persian Empire it was dubbed Azadi (Freedom) after the Iranian Revolution of 1979.
