It is best known for its Old Bridge on Neretva river (the Stari Most) which is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. The bridge (1566 - Ottoman rule) is the symbol of the friendship between the ethnicities of the area.
SARAJEVO
It is the capital and largest city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a population of just over 310,000. It is famous for its traditional religious diversity, with adherents of Islam, Orthodoxy, Catholicism and Judaism coexisting there for centuries.

The town lies on the Trebišnjica River in SE of Herzegovina. It is a very interesting cultural-historical city for its large number of ancient Christian temples.
