Views

It is a region in southern of Germany known for its romantic nature. Its three largest cities are Nuremberg, Würzburg and Heilbronn.

MÜNCHEN

The Residenz

It is the former royal palace of the Wittelsbach monarchs of Bavaria. For five hundred years (from 1508 to 1918) it was the residence and center of power of the Bavarian dukes, electors and kings. The complex of buildings contains ten courtyards and displays 130 rooms.

NÜRNBERG

Views

It is famous for its medieval walls and ancient castle and Gothic churches. The city dates back to the year 1050 and for around 500 years, it was the unofficial capital of the Holy Roman Empire. The National Socialists made Nürnberg the unofficial capital of their empire (Third Reich). It was chosen as the site of the International Military Tribunal, the war crimes trial, which started in November 1945 at the Justizgebäude (Palace of Justice).

SCHWANGAU

Neuschwanstein Castle

It is a 19th century castle, commissioned by King Ludwig II of Bavaria. It has numerous towers, turrets, balconies and pinnacles and lies in the alpine landscape: for these elements it is known as a romantic castle.
