BOLOGNA
It is a complex of religious edifices dating back to the Romanesque era. The complex was once made up of seven churches and has interesting cloisters, statues and artworks.

It is shown the mosaic in Byzantine style of the enthroned Christus with four angels. Both the exterior and the interior of the Basilica graphically illustrate the fusion between the Western and Eastern styles characteristic of the late 5th-early 6th century. This is one of the most important buildings from this period of crucial cultural significance in European religious art.
