Monastery

It is one of the famous frescoes painted monasteries in Bukovina. In 1488, Stephen III of Moldavia built it to commemorate the victory at Battle of Vaslui: on January 10, 1475 he defeated the Ottoman Beylerbey of Rumelia, Hadân Suleiman Pasha.
