BOHINJ
The waters from the lakes, located in the valley of waters from the Triglav Lakes Valley, burst out to daylight at the wall rock of Komarča under the name of Savica. Spurting from a karst cavern, the water falls in the shape of an A-lettered 2-meter waterfall 78 m deep. France Prešeren mentioned it in his famous poem Krst pri Savici.
POKLJUKA
It is a forested karst plateau at an elevation of around 1,100 to 1,400 metres located in the Julian Alps. It is part of Triglav National Park. The plateau is known for its winter sports facilities.
